Arsenal 3-3 Anderlecht: Gunners capitulate to miss chance to go through

The Gunners were 3-0 up inside the hour mark but a double from Anthony Vanden Borre gave the visitors hope before Aleksandar Mitrovic snatched a dramatic equaliser
Arsenal must wait to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stage after letting a three-goal lead slip at home to Anderlecht.

A Mikel Arteta penalty and brilliant Alexis Sanchez volley put the Gunners firmly in command inside the first half-hour, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked to have sealed the points when he made it 3-0 on 58 minutes.

But Anderlecht were far from finished, and former Portsmouth star Anthony Vanden Borre struck twice - the second from the penalty spot - to give them hope before Aleksandar Mitrovic snatched a dramatic equaliser at the death.
