Basel 0-1 Real Madrid: Ronaldo earns Blancos club-record 15th successive win

The Portugal international moved level with Raul in the Champions League's all-time leading goalscorers' list after bundling home a cross from Karim Benzema
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal of the game as Real Madrid sealed top spot in Champions League Group B and racked up a club-record 15th successive win courtesy of a 1-0 victory at Basel.

The Portuguese bundled home from close range 35 minutes in following great work from Karim Benzema to take his overall tournament tally to 71 goals, level with Blancos icon Raul and just three shy of new record-holder Lionel Messi.
