Tuesday Night Football Results(EPL , La liga, Serie A)

On Tuesday Night we saw some great matches from EPL , la liga  and Serie A. From Premier league we saw how  Chelsea climbed to third place in the Premier League with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Tuesday. Watford continue their for survival by beating Norwich City by 2 goals to 1 . Jamie Vardy of Leciester City secured a late draw for Leciester City at the Emirates against Arsenal.
In La liga , we saw Valencia defeated Real Valladoid ,and Atthelico Mardrid Secured a draw with Celta Vigo after Morata scores fastest goal of LaLiga season .

The biggest results on Tuesday came from the Serie A, where six second-half goals at San Siro as a see-saw Serie A match sensationally went Milan's way.  Ac Milan defeated League leaders Juventus .Juventus missed the chance to move 10 points clear at the top of Serie A as they incredibly let a two-goal lead slip to lose 4-2 at Milan after a remarkable second half on Tuesday.

It's already shaping up to be an almighty battle for the Premier League title next season.

Liverpool may have wrapped up this season's edition with seven games to spare but there is no denying that deposed champions Manchester City delivered a shot across the bows of Jurgen Klopp and his team on Thursday.

Elsewhere, Manchester United gained more ground in the pursuit of Champions League football as Chelsea's topsy-turvy season continued with a damaging loss at West Ham.
Jose Mourinho looks no nearer to solving his Tottenham problems, meanwhile, following a 3-1 defeat away at Bramall Lane.

1) Man City’s counterattacking suggests Pep has discovered how to beat Klopp

Whether Liverpool were carrying the physical effects of last week’s celebrations or suffering an unconscious drop in motivation, their defensive collapse on Thursday night should not be taken as a sign of things to come.

In fact, they were competitive for the first 30 minutes, with a deliberate tactical strategy of chipping balls over the top of the Manchester City backline almost leading to a couple of early goals.

The style of Man City’s football was markedly different from how they usually approach this game, or any other for that matter.

Pep Guardiola wants his players to regroup after winning the ball in their own half, forming his perfected team shape in order to move the opposition around.

He doesn’t like quick, improvised counterattacks because it stretches his players out of shape, creating end-to-end games and the sort of chaos his obsessive mind is desperate to control.

Not so last night, when Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, and Kevin De Bruyne moved at high speed to break through the middle, targeting the spaces left by Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

A week after their first Premier League title in 30 years was confirmed, and after forcing Manchester City into the ignominy of a guard of honour at their own stadium, Liverpool were given a firm reminder of the challenges which await them.
Jurgen Klopp had insisted on Wednesday that the idea of “an end of an era” at City was to be ignored. “They will not stop,” he told his pre-match press conference, and his words were borne out here at the Etihad, as Pep Guardiola’s wounded side finally landed a blow in this most one-sided of campaigns.

Nobody knows yet when the new season will start, but City have already begun their quest to wrest their title back. Liverpool may be 20 points clear - crowned the new Premier League champions a week ago - but they won’t have it as easy next season.

Inter 6-0 Brescia: Nerazzurri thrash Serie A strugglers

 Antonio Conte's Inter maintained their good Serie A form since the resumption with a convincing 6-0 win over bottom side Brescia.

In-form Inter proved far too strong for Brescia on Wednesday as Antonio Conte's men cruised to a 6-0 win at San Siro.

Inter's top scorer Romelu Lukaku, who has found the net 19 times in Serie A, remained on the bench for the first 68 minutes as two of the Belgian's former team-mates at Manchester United shone instead.

Ashley Young volleyed in the first following a cross from Alexis Sanchez, who then converted a 20th-minute penalty after Victor Moses had been fouled.
Danilo D'Ambrosio and Roberto Gagliardini scored headers either side of half-time, with substitutes Christian Eriksen and Antonio Candreva adding late strikes as third-placed Inter kept their slim title hopes alive, moving eight points behind leaders Juventus.

It might have been a different story had Alfredo Donnarumma not blazed over in the third minute following a loose pass from Young.

Manchester City ripped up the record books when Pep Guardiola lifted his first Premier League title in 2018, with the kind of dominating season the league had never seen before. Despite City winning all but six games across the entire campaign, and repeating that feat last season, Liverpool are well on course to not only beat City's record haul, but potentially better it.

Now back to winning ways after beating Crystal Palace, Liverpool still have to travel to City, and could break Guardiola's wins record at Arsenal and end up with a mammoth 35 wins by the end of the season. They can still afford to drop points in two more games before the end of the season and overtake City.

Gabriel Jesus' last-minute winner for Manchester City at Southampton on the last day of the season in 2017/18 did not mean much in a title race that was long since over but Guardiola's celebrations on the touchline at St Mary's told their own story about how significant reaching the target of a three-figure points tally was for the manager.
City were only two points away from matching that last season, but Liverpool can afford to drop six more points between now and the end of the campaign and still beat that incredible figure. At present, Liverpool could smash past 100 points against Arsenal.

Liverpool have finally ended their 30-year wait for a 19th top-flight title after Manchester City's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Thursday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side, who thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday, have sealed their first Premier League crown with seven games still to play after City dropped points in a dramatic encounter at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool have enjoyed a stunning season that has seen them beaten just once in the league so far - a shock 3-0 loss at struggling Watford in February - to open up an unassailable 23-point lead over Pep Guardiola's side in second.
Their unstoppable march towards the league title was temporarily halted by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic back in March, with the Reds just two wins from glory.
And though Merseyside rivals Everton held them to a goalless draw following the resumption of the Premier League this month, they did not have much longer to wait to rubberstamp their 2019/20 triumph.

Harry Kane said he feels "as fit as I've ever done" after scoring his first goal of 2020 in Tottenham's 2-0 win over West Ham on Tuesday.

Kane returned to action for the first time since New Year's Day following a hamstring injury and the coronavirus-enforced hiatus in Friday's draw with Manchester United .

The England striker looked visibly off the pace in that game and wasted several chances against West Ham before making sure of the points eight minutes from time.

Tottenham's win moves them within a point of fifth-placed United and sixth-placed Wolves in the race for Champions League football.

Valdes showing Barca what they will miss

Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has hit some of the best form of his career in the opening weeks of the season, making it all the more perplexing for the club's fans that he appears determined to stand by his decision to leave.

The 31-year-old, a product of the club's youth academy who made his first-team debut in the 2002-03 campaign, announced last term he was quitting because the pressure of being Barca's first choice keeper for a decade had taken its toll.

He refused the offer of a contract extension beyond June 2014 and said he wanted to experience different cultures and different languages, prompting speculation he could accept a lucrative offer from big-spending Ligue 1 side Monaco.

Barca have made a solid start to the La Liga season under new coach Gerardo Martino and will be chasing a fifth win in five matches at Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

However, three of their four league wins have been by a single goal and Valdes has made a host of vital interventions that have helped avert an early setback to the club's bid for a fifth title in six years.

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho out for 6 weeks

Liverpool have suffered a huge blow today as young Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho will undergo a procedure on shoulder injury that would keep him out of action, until October, the club has confirmed.
The youngster suffered an injury during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Swansea City in the last match. The 21-year-old couldn’t continue any longer, following a challenge with Ashley Williams in the second half.

After being assessed by the Liverpool’s medical staff, it has been decided that the Brazilian will require surgical stabilization on the AC joint in his shoulder. This could rule him out for a long period of time and will be back in contention towards the end of October.

Coutinho has been one of the most influential players for the Reds since joining the club last season from Inter Milan. His impact on pitch has been paramount this season too along with Daniel Sturridge, and although he didn’t bag a goal or assist this season, but he was undoubtedly the central creative spark for the Reds.

Definitely losing him will be a huge blow. But, the Reds could heave a sigh of relief as Luis Suarez would make a timely return now following his 10-match suspension. Still, all Liverpool fans can do here is wish him quick recovery.
